“Looks Like I’m Watching” – These Spurs Fans React To Managers Ultimate Show Of Faith

|

With Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy confirming this week that highly rated Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott would get his senior international bow in their friendly tonight against New Zealand, fans are guaranteed to be watching on to see how our 17-year-old steps up to the plate and performs.

McCarthy naturally has high hopes for the youngster having tracked him through the youth setup, and he made an immediate impact with three goals in two games when he stepped up to their Under 21 set up during the last break, but there still needs to be an element of patience as he finds his feet, so whilst getting on the scoresheet would be fantastic for his confidence, few will be expecting that kind of impact.

With a number of comparisons to Robbie Keane already, he will be the Republic’s youngest debutant since Keane, so comparisons will only continue.

Over to you lad, good luck.

Will Parrott Make His Mark?
